Abuse and Content Notices

If content concerns an immediate threat to life or physical safety, ongoing child sexual exploitation, or another emergency, contact the competent police or emergency service immediately. In France, call 17 or 112. A Yogfile report is not a substitute for an emergency response.

Authorities may contact abuse@yogfile.com in French or English. Please identify the authority, the legal basis of the request, the exact Yogfile URL and a secure means of reply. We preserve and disclose data only where a valid legal basis requires or permits it.

A public file page includes a report control that can be used without a Yogfile account. It records a duplicate-resistant signal. A keyed, pseudonymized identifier derived from the reporter's IP prevents the same source from repeatedly counting against the same file. We do not treat that identifier as anonymous data.

When a reporting threshold is reached, access to the reported content and byte-identical copies may be restricted automatically. Hash matching follows the bytes, not merely one account record. Automated signals do not establish that content is illegal, and a restriction may be reviewed, reversed or confirmed.

A quick report is useful for triage but does not, by itself, contain all the information required for a formal notice of allegedly illegal content.

Send a formal notice to abuse@yogfile.com. A complete notice should include:

• the exact Yogfile file or drive URL and any information needed to locate the content;
• a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is alleged to be illegal, including the relevant country and legal basis where known;
• your name and email address, except where applicable law permits a notice without those details;
• available evidence, such as proof of rights, an official reference or a screenshot that adds necessary context; and
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.

Do not send unrelated personal data, passwords, account numbers, MFA secrets, recovery codes, malware samples in executable form, or illegal material where a precise URL and description are sufficient. If evidence is especially sensitive, first ask us for a safe transfer method.

A precise and substantiated notice may give us actual knowledge or awareness of the identified content. Incomplete notices may require clarification and can delay a decision.

If you act for a rights holder, also identify the protected work or right, explain your authority to act, identify the allegedly infringing material precisely, and explain why the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law. Include territory-specific registrations or decisions where relevant.

For privacy, image-right or confidentiality complaints, explain your relationship to the affected person or information and why access should be restricted. We may ask for proportionate proof before acting, while avoiding collection of unnecessary identity data.

We assess the information available, the applicable law, the rights and safety of affected people, the reliability of automated signals, and whether a narrower measure can address the issue. Possible outcomes include no action, a temporary restriction, disabling a public link, restricting byte-identical content, suspending affected functionality, preserving data, or permanent removal.

Where required by law, we acknowledge a formal electronic notice and communicate our decision to the notifier. Where the affected account can be contacted and the law permits, we provide a clear statement of reasons identifying the nature and territorial scope of the restriction, its contractual or legal basis, whether automation was used, and how to contest it.

We may delay or withhold details where disclosure is prohibited, could compromise an investigation, expose a person to harm, reveal a security control, or facilitate abuse.

If your content or account was restricted, send an email to abuse@yogfile.com with “Appeal” in the subject. Include the affected URL or decision reference, the reason you believe the decision is wrong, relevant rights or context, and any evidence you want us to consider.

An appeal may lead to human review and can result in the restriction being lifted, changed or confirmed. Repeated submissions of the same material without new information may be closed. Appealing does not prevent you from using any court, regulator or out-of-court remedy available under applicable law.

Do not knowingly submit a false or misleading notice, impersonate a rights holder, or use reporting systems to harass a person or suppress lawful speech. We may disregard abusive, manifestly unfounded or repetitive submissions and may take proportionate action under theTerms of Service.

Information in a notice is used to investigate, document and respond to the report, comply with legal duties and defend decisions. It may be shared with the affected user where necessary and lawful. See the Privacy Notice for retention, recipients and your data-protection rights.
